Even better food (IMHO) is just a block or two south at New Indian Cafe. The service was horrible, but the food was SO good I didn't really care... and I always care about the service.

Totally unrelated to Indian, but just a half a block away is Jabo's for BBQ. It's expensive, but the portions are so big it is actually a deal. A chopped brisket sandwich is about $15, but will easily feed two. Of course, I ate it all by myself because it was SOOO good, but I was full the rest of the day.

They can be slow and they really like to talk, and talk in detail about what they do and how they do it, so don't try to get in and out in 45 minutes for lunch.

Loving Clancy's (on 38th near Pierce) in Wheat Ridge. Really good Irish food. The Shepherd's Pie is wonderful!

Chipotle on County Line across the way from Park Meadows. The tortilla warmer was very welcoming and put just the right amount of white rice and blacks beans in my tortilla. The person scooping the chicken and cheese was not so nice but the hospitality of the cashier made up for it. The burrito wasn't too bad for a quick lunch. 3 1/2 out of 5 stars. I spent just under $7.

^LOL, since you did that...

Jack in the Box on Kipling. Lady at the drive thru somehow got the idea I wanted two kids meals. She got frustrated and told me to just come to the window.

Upon meeting her at the window, I noticed her English wasn't as good as she let on, and used Spanish conjunctions in place of English ones (pero for but, etc). We straightened out the order, my son wanted Fanta pero the soda machine at la window no have Fanta, so she got it from the dining room for us. Son was very happy.

It was ~ $14, and I felt like Popeye afterwards like I always do after eating there.

Sabor Mexican Grill on Parker @ Chambers. SO good. No more Qdoba or Chipotle for me. Huge portions, VERY tasty and priced right. So glad I live close by.

I love Jack in the Box but I try to avoid it because it is really not good for me. Those tacos and the ultimate cheeseburger, sooooo good.

There's one in Golden called Casa del Sabor. Can't say the food really lives up to the "House of Flavor" name. Good breakfast burritos though.

For Mexican food my wife and I like Los Dos Potrillos. They just opened another one in Highlands Ranch and it is now our goto place.

That being said I may have to take a short vacation to San Diego just to eat at one of my favorite hole in the wall taco shops.

We hit Torchy's Tacos in Greenwood Village on Saturday night, pretty darn good tacos. Thank goodness we called ahead for pickup, the line was literally out the door. I had The Republican, Trailer Park, and Crossroads tacos. Really good!

Best names ever, but with names like that I wouldn't want any!
