We have a family joke about this. When my son was about 12 years old, we were painting his bedroom. We were using a jar of wood putty to caulk his trim. He picked it up and read out loud, "...has been found to cause cancer in California." I responded, "Thank God we don't live in California." He was a smart kid. He got the joke. He's 21 now. We were watching TV the other day and someone was talking about a rare cancer risk and he said, "Thank God we don't live in California." I laughed my ass off.
