You said "I gotta go thru this 2 more times! The cat is 10 yrs old and the lab/heeler mix is 5 yrs old."

Yes, you will have to do this two more times BUT you gave 3 animals a loving home. They deserved that. Had they not been with you, who knows how long they would have lived and in what condition. You gave them a wonderful life and you love(d) them. Unfortunately, it comes with a price that really hurts our hearts.

They thank you and love you for it.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Visit her everyday and reflect on all the good times you had together. Plus you ROCK for adopting her and giving her a great life after what she started life wtih

Sorry for bringing up an old thread, but I just wanted to inform others.....

As I mentioned before.... I live on the edge of the country, and was forewarned about critters trying to dig up her grave.

THAT'S why I went with the large heavy landscape squares.

Anyhow.... just in the last few days, evidence of critters ATTEMPTING to dig have failed. But I suspect it's the coons that keep
crapping on the mulch.

Just wanted to forewarn others...... those large landscape squares, stacked on top of each other, with the large heavy rock, was probably the best idea I could of thought of.

<fingers crossed> So far, so good.

Do coons mark their territory? Cause it's getting even worse now? The "poop" evidence is growing.

I just want to say, I am thinking of all of you who have/or will go thru this. I too hung on too long, and Jack will be gone a year in August. I am serously thinking about getting a new baby soon. Hugs to you.
