Currently, we call her 'Nikki'.
That's the name the shelter chose.

Doesn't sit well with me.
Went to all the 'dog name' sites,...they all seem ridiculous.

'Diesel'?
'Cherrybell'?
'Cookie'?

She's a skinny dog with lots of energy.
Crooked tail, typical mixed breed. brain the size of a pickled walnut. If you ask me.
But, my family tells me she's smart. Learned to 'sit' in a week. I guess that's good.
Already 8 months old when we got her, so..a lot of training to do. And me, not fit to do it.
But soon, I'll be up and at 'em. Full time.

So:
Need something I can call out in the park and not have people thinking I'm calling for my daughter!
It's a long shot, ?, everyone has their own taste...but I thought I'd try here.
You at C-D, one of the biggest sites on the internet can help?

Just swing in the dark, maybe something will stick.

I just call her 'beast' for now.
(...not in a mean way)

Anyways,
Looking forward to your responses.
Thanks you guys.

Can you post a picture??? That might make it easier for us to help you pick a name. That and I'm just curious to see this lovely gal.

Crosier (crowz' yur). Means hooked. Although there is a religious connotation, it is also used in biology to describe straight structures with a hook at the end.

I think that would help, too.

Skinny and energetic - perhaps you could name her after some famous track and field athlete.

[SIZE=2]Added: I was trying to think of an Olympic athlete with a bubbly personality (which your girl sounds like she has) and I keep thinking of Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce.

LOL, cute drawing.
I guess you don't want people names? I was thinking skinny Minnie. But skinny, enrgetic, with a bent tail sounds like a sports car. Lots of names to choose from there. Ferrari, Mustang, (here I go with the girl names again- Mustang Sally).
Looking forward to a picture!

Lady 13. Casino 25. Sandy 37. Jasmine
2. Princess 14. Flo 26. Dakota 38. Muffin
3. Maggie 15. Isis 27. Katie 39. Mackenzie
4. Ginger 16. Myst 28. Annie 40. Madison
5. Daisy 17. Nymph 29. Chelsea
6. Lucy 18. Rogue 30. Sophie
7. Lucy 19. Squat 31. Bo
8. Missy 20. Tricky 32. Coco
9. Tasha 21. Tricky 33. Lily
10. Molly 22. Sadie 34. Amber
11. Biddy 23. Abby 35. Cinnamon
12. Brie 24. Sasha 36. Duchess

'Casino'???
Are you freakin' kidding me?
'Cinnamon'?
'tricky' 'Tricky'? TRICKY'?
'Isis'? Am I calling down the Gods?
Agghr.

My goodness.<---is the nicest way I can put it.
Juzum Crow, my mind is somewhere else, I just want a decent name for the dog.
Hopefully something that incorperates her bent tail. But whatever.

I know....I know...I can't even think of one...what's latin for 'bent tail'? hmmm. Anyways.
BUT 'Nikki' is NOT IT.

(PS> Sorry I have illness and am a little bit snappy, didn't mean to **** you off, subject2chnange. (edit: or anyone else)
I am no good at the internet, face to face is my thing...ahhh, anyways....

Thanks for the reply. Seriously. Thank you. I'm in a bad mood, I am thankful for your reply.

P.S.
'Minnie' might work....hmmmm

Nice picture^^.
I have a few suggestions, names that we've given some of our dogs in the past.
"Barney" - Female German Shepherd mix. Reminded us of Barney Fife because she was small(25 lbs) and skinny and a bit crazy. We suspect part coyote
"Hobie" - Because we had a Hobie Cat sailboat at the time. So we had a Hobie Cat and a Hobie Dog.
"Lefty" - Name wife wouldn't let me name our 3-legged Lab after his right front legs were removed.
"Ace" - Name for our now 3 legged Lab. Somewhat appropriate because a pilot has to have shot down 5 enemy aircraft to attain this title.
Maybe this helps a little. I don't think anyone will think you're calling your daughter at the park with any of these.
