i've had tons of breeds i have loved over the years.
have 3 right now, and have to admit the chihuahua is way better than i could have hoped(never was a fan of the tiny yippers but 2 daughters bugging me nonstop..wasn't worth fighting)

but already, at not even 2 yrs, my irish wolfhound is far and away my favorite. ill never be without one again.
perfect family dog for someone who wants a large dog. and the 'holy crap you have a horse' factor while walking him is a bonus.

Smile I love long noses and lab noses!

I just love dogs - but I've had Collies and Shelties. Someday, I love a nice lab to swim with. I love to swim and when I go in the pool, my two just bark at me

Yellow Labs First, then German Shepards.

There is a reason why those two are used as service and search and rescue almost all the time.

I think Boxer is my favorite (but that's because I grew up with one from age 4 to age 18). Now I go to adoption events and anything over 25 pounds is my new favorite. Next summer, I'll be retired with time on my hands and I'm going to adopt a couple of dogs (only have cats now because I don't have the time dogs require). It's going to be very difficult to limit myself to just a couple. They all appeal to me.

Thats great that you'll adopt and give a dog a 2nd chance.
