Ha! You'd hate me then. Porkchop gets dressed up for every holiday. Granted, it's only for a photo op and he never goes outside in it and it's not dog clothes, since he is too wide for doggie clothing. He wears it for a total of 5 minutes, but I still dress him. All his shirts come from the baby dept at Target/Old Navy.
OK - I can deal with the Tshirts 'cause Porkchop is so darn cute and he doesn't go outside in them (and I will admit Macie does have holiday themed collars - also from Old Navy....although they are hard to see underneath all her hair...) BUT, THE YANKEES??? NOOOOOOO.....

Wow! Beautiful dog! Looks cute in that dress. Hoping she does not go for walks around the block like that!

3 of my 4 chihuahuas enjoy clothing...if it's cold or wet, they will NOT go outside without their hoodies...! Their grandma can't resist buying them dresses when they go on sale, but she doesn't spend a lot of money on them...the average per dress is around $5.00, which is reasonable. They get cold very easily, even in the summer if I have the air turned on too high they'll shiver, so clothing is necessary for their comfort sometimes...that being the case, why not let that apparel be as cute as possible, right? We don't do footwear, though...they really hate it! The 4th dog (the one who hates clothes) isn't subjected to wearing anything unless it's REALLY cold, though...I let them decide if they want to be dressed up or not, and if they appear to be uncomfortable in something, off it goes...!

I have a really large, mostly black and dark brown, independently minded, quite smart, male German Shepherd Dog, Dreifus by name. If someone really wants to dress him in a shirt and pants, ......this may be interesting to watch!! After they sign the liability waver, I'll sell tickets and film the event.

Coats, rain coats, booties are IMO fine in bad weather.

But there is NEVER a reason (except owner vanity) to put a DOG in a BIKINI!!!

NEVER!

Ok, well no bikinis for sure! :yikes:

I have to admit, my fiance's Shih Tzu loves to wear clothes. I would never have believed if I hadn't seen it for myself, but there's really no other explanation. Her whole attitude changes as soon as you put something on her, it's the darndest thing.
