Surprised nobody's mentioned the healthcare link between Newt and Hillary.

Not one of his negatives has anything to do with being president.

Ahh I get it, liberals hate family values, and will vote against anyone who talks about it, even if it means we elect incompetent fools who will bankrupt the nation.

I'm always amazed at people who quote me but don't read what I wrote.

Here I'll bold it for you:

If there's one thing I can't stand, it's a hypocrite.

Should be easy to understand - no complex sentence structure, no big words so hopefully you can handle it. If that is too difficult for you, try this:

"If youre going to talk the family values talk, then walk the family values walk."

I read your posting and laughed at it. I suppose your referring to Newts prosecuting of Clinton for getting a bj, while Newt was having affairs. I ignored that part because its completely ridiculous that you guys are old enough to be posting here, but dont know that Newt went after Clinton for LYING UNDER OATH..

If you dont know the different between lying under oath, and a bj, then you really should stop posting.

This was a horrible period of time. It was even worse when you followed the entire story.
Washingtonpost.com: House Reprimands, Penalizes Speaker

In the end, the "truth" was a little sugar coated, and then it ended.

Totally wrong. And by the way your comment was too idiotic for me to get a laugh out of it. There are so many false assumptions in it I wonder how you even think it's worth it for you to post.

This is about Newt Gingrich and Newt Gingrich alone. Clinton has nothing to do with it.

That Gingrich finally divorced his first wife while she was in the hospital after cheating on her repeatedly during their marriage because:
"She's not young enough or pretty enough to be the wife of a President. And besides, she has cancer." (So much for until death do you part, eh?) is just telling me he is another one of those guys who have trouble keeping it in their pants.

Then while he was married to wife #2, starts an affair with a woman young enough to be his daughter says to me that he thinks he has found an appropriate trophy wife. Also nothing unusual.

That he excuses his escapades as the result of his working too hard is telling me he wants to play the public for fools. Boohoo I guess all those poor husbands who are workaholics are now justified in his mind for cheating on their wives. But still, nothing unusual.

No what says HYPOCRITE loud and clear me was that during this time he gve speeches and later maintained a website for his American Solutions organziation (which has apparently been taken down) that was a platform for selling his books, selling the 'restore America / Family Values' hype.

Like I said, if you're going to talk the talk, walk the walk. Look at Romney; he doesn't run his mouth about being a holier-than-thou. Do you think Gingrich would have stuck with Ann Romney after she got diagnosed with MS?

Amazing how low the character bar has to be lowered during this election cycle.

Where does it say that if one believes in family values, one cannot get divorced and remarry? Pursuit of happiness is a fundamental right.

Guess what - I disagree. Anyone who displays that degree of callousness towards family members does not *IMO* have the basic decency required of a statesman.

EPIC FAIL to you.

Of course it's a fundamental right, just as being a well-known segregationist and having a biracial child can be considered an expression of the pursuit of happiness to some people. To me, a hypocrite is a hypocrite. It's called "practice what you preach." And Newt didn't just "get divorced and remarry." There was a lot more to it than that.
