Republicans continually have to come up with all these excuses and "reverse-racism" crap, 'cuz its the only way they can avoid the obvious... which is that minorities just don't like like them!
And who can blame 'em, when they see an entire political party campaigning on a platform based on the "Southern Strategy", rampant xenophobia, and fostering intense hatred towards the POTUS for being a "lazy, shiftless, welfare President" and an "uppity muslim Kenyan"?!

You make a great point and it's obviously racism. If there were a National Association for the Advancement of White People or a white Miss America or a White Entertainment Television, etc. a lot of people would flip their lids.
The sad thing to me is that there are many Christian conservative black people who will carry the Obama torch even though they are against abortion and gay marriage. There is an on-going effort of black pastors trying to help people understand this and get them to vote on issues and not race. There are a lot of good speeches on youtube if anyone is interested.

The perception that is was racial in context you made up, Romney was clearly speaking on the context of the speech at NAACP, and about the reaction. You drew the racial link, not Romney.

When you create dependency, the hand that feeds you won't be bitten. The dems know that very well. The successful blacks know that very well.
Things such as affirmative action don't help, the successful blacks have worked hard, studied hard and earned what they have. They do not want someone to think they were given a chance because the workplace, classroom needed a token black guy.
All racial groups in America have suffered in one way or another at some point, look at the anti-Chinese acts or the Japanese being sent to camps. What did they do? They went out and worked hard, they stressed education and hard work, not hand outs and a feel sorry for yourself attitude.

How do they do this, by calling us lazy, studpid, brainwashed, free loaders.
