I'd be for it being even shorter than that...like 6 months before the election. Get the primaries and campaigning over quickly. It ain't like there are undecided voters (the big lie...everyone decided a long time ago).

Yeah; I'm ready for it to be over. I think everyone is. I've tried to tone down my FB postings so I can still be friends with everyone after this election is over!

Even if you take out the 9 core metro counties (NYC, Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, Rockland) the state still would go Democratic.
