Apparently we watch different newscasts on their poll numbers. Last night (which is the same night as you got your information) my news polls showed just the opposite.

We both have a problem here. Both of us are referring to news casts which neither of us can cite. Having said that, I still maintain that all of the current polls (regardless of source) will change dramatically after Her Majesty faces Congressional hearings. O yes, she is going to bloviate about them being a 'witch hunt' (which after all it really is ... Billarywitch) but there will be very hard questions she will have to face. No doubt that she will not answer and/or obfuscate, but she will be on the record. And as far as her only giving ONE DAY ... we'll see what comes next. I'm certain that she will use the excuse of the demands of campaigning ... but let us see the drop in the polls after the hearings and the "debate". Speaking of debate, let us see the difference in the type questions asked. I believe that NO HARDBALL QUESTIONS will be asked a la the Republican debate. And Billary's softballs will make me puke.

Remember what happened after Hillary testified in front of the Benghazi committee in 2012? Her approval rating went up immediately thereafter. Deja vu? Yup, I think so.

Badgering her on TV (which the GOP committee members can't help themselves from doing) will reflect very poorly on the Republicans. Also, this time she's got a perfect weapon - the comment from your next Speaker of the House. She will milk that all.day.long. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Kevin. You rock.

What happens to your theory if your prediction for the next speaker is wrong and someone with guts takes that position? McCarthy has angered a lot of republicans with his statements.

Why, because he slipped and let the truth come out? I don't see how Chaffetz could win the spot - he seems like a real lightweight, in my humble opinion from watching the PP hearing. But ultimately, who becomes the next Speaker doesn't matter - it's not who said it, but the fact that it was said publicly (well, by the current House Majority Leader).

Yep. It was one of those, "Oops! I accidentally let the truth slip out!" moments. Trey Gowdy is furious with McCarthy over this inadvertent truth telling because it showed everyone what a sham his "investigation" is. Gowdy admitted that no amount of apologizing from McCarthy is going to change that now.

It is. And it's also a Dem and Bernie Sanders issue. And this is why...

How Sweden fights inequality - without soaking the rich

Read it very carefully, including the chart. You just might learn something.

Interesting post. However, the situation was entirely different then than it is now. Now we have the server, the FBI investigation, and even the State Department. At the time you are referring to, we only had Her Majesty and the sympathy vote of her 'recovery'. And notice that the concussion issue has never been brought up again ... I wonder why?

Some truth here ... however, the Dims will define the questions as 'badgering' but what about answers and/or non-answers. Being a lawyer, she will do her best to dodge each and every question ... but what about the person that keeps asking the same question that she refuses to answer? Will that be badgering?

And you are correct about her "perfect weapon". But the question is, will she use it, or will she let Elijah do her dirty work. My Abe Lincoln says she will hide behind the Dims on the committee so as to avoid getting dirty. And yes, after Elijah does it all of the rest of the Dim lemmings will pick up the mantle.

I will say this again (I said it in another topic) the issues the Committee is looking at are ... a sodomized and murdered US Ambassador, 2 other murdered US citizens, and a galactic cover-up attempt. The server and the emails will tell all ... even though Her Majesty will not.
