Remember that story about the boy who cried "Wolf!"? That's the problem with investigating Hillary. She's been investigated for the last 30 years and nothing, nothing, nothing.
Enough already! Leave her alone and go find someone else to investigate -- like maybe McCarthy?

Why would they do that when their smear campaign is working so well? McCarthy was positive gleeful when recounting how successful they've been.
But this could end up backfiring on them. Eric Erickson was right when he berated McCarthy for giving Hillary such a powerful talking point. You can be sure that clip is going to show up again and again in the coming campaign. I'd like to think all the millions the GOP squandered on this bogus "investigation" comes back to bite them in the ass. That would be money well spent.
Actually, as Kevin McCarthy just proved, Republicans and ethics should never be mentioned in the same breath. Unless it's in relation to an investigation of them for violating the House rules.
Make it read all politicians and ethics should never be mentioned in the same breath and you may have a point.
Once she realizes the "Republican War On Women" claim is no longer working, she will probably come out of the closet and start using the "Republican homophobe" claim.

yeah, that's her plan all right but what deductive reasoning lead you right to the strategy? <snicker>
If Biden runs, will that split establishment support enough to slide Sanders to the nomination? The is probably Hillary's nightmare.
I personally believe the Bernie surge is because he is the Billary alternative. Yes, Joe is rising in the polls and his numbers show how weak Her Majesty is because those numbers are at her expense. But, since he hasn't declared ... Bernie gets them. Not for one second do I believe Uncle Joe stands a snowballs chance in a general election (stupidity), but then I don't think the other two do either (trust and socialism). Having said that, we are not at the general election yet so the question is ... who is the nominee? If he declares ... Joe ... if not Bernie. I the Billary's 'October surprise' comes at the hearings ... which I suspect will again not happen because of another mysterious medical malaise.

Bernie Sanders is surging because his message is resonating with voters. He's holds real populist views, such as a day's work should be compensated with a decent day's pay and is angry about how the top elite is capturing most of national income while those who work for a living are stagnant.
He's also a decent politician, who never makes negative campaign ads and doesn't take big donations.
Biden has nothing to do with his popularity. Bernie was running well before Biden was mentioned.
While you think Biden doesn't "stand a snowballs chance in a general election," early polls say otherwise. Everyone likes Biden and in head-to-head polls runs ahead of every GOP candidate.
If Sanders is the Dem candidate, the GOP will try to harp on 'socialism, socialism, socialism' -- basically trying to McGovern him because they can't combat his message, which is articulate and sensible.
Clinton also beats every GOP contender. I also think the GOP will overplay their shinny object -- Benghazi and Emails! The presumptive House Speaker already let it out that the entire Benghazi investigations were designed to topple Mrs. Clinton's campaign. Those will be Dem campaign ads.
