I've been working since I was 16. I'm currently a middle manager in an engineering firm making about 100k/year. Never been on welfare. Never even received unemployment benefits. I vote Dem.

You demonstrate that by voting for the Democrats.

Good for you. Same here.

Now, how does importing 50 million poor people help our own poor people?

I vote dem for a variety of reasons. I will never vote repub because I don't agree with their views on most things. I find repubs to be mean-spirited.

I've worked since I was 18 (including full time through chemo - healthcare is the biggest reason I cannot vote for a Republican), went to a top tier college on a full tuition scholarship and graduated debt free, and have never been on welfare. I vote for the Democrats.
