They don't try to understand the net benefits of HSA, I bet.

No it doesn't.

As far as Medicaid also the administrative requirements of accepting public insurance, doctors sometimes just don’t want the hassle.

Thank you helping show proof that Single payer doesn't work. Lack of accountability in single payer does that.

Lack of options kills competition. Competition brings down prices and increases efficiency. That's basic business.

Indian Healthcare Services is another single payer that's a joke.

I do agree 100% with pricing transparency with doctors and hospitals.

It's absurd that no one can give you even a ballpark figure on how much a procedure would cost. "It depends on so many things. . . . ."

And getting charged $10 for a band aid and $15 for one aspirin. . . .

If we can intelligently shop around (in non-emergent cases, of course), then the competition should drive the price down in theory.

Go Trump 2024!!!!

And that's why costs went up in California. Don't you remember Enron? Also, electric is EXPENSIVE in Texas, not cheap. It's much cheaper in California.

LOL. It's amusing.
How is Trump going to pay for all of this? Isn't that what Sanders is asked?

The across state lines feature is nonsense. Insurance companies already operate across state lines. Anyone who thinks Blue Cross of NY is a different company than Blue Cross of NJ or Blue Cross of Ohio, is fooling themselves.

The deducting the premium helps people with higher incomes because their tax-rates are higher.

There is no provision for pre-existing conditions because that coverage requires the individual mandate -- which prevents people from only buying insurance when they get sick.

There is no provision for subsidizing those who earn too much to be eligible for Medicaid, which means that someone earning $50,000 a year would have to pay 30% of their income on health insurance.

In essence, this plan is worse, by far, than Obamacare.

ANYTHING is still better than a law that requires Americans to purchase something......get rid of the mandate and Im fine with everything else, but you "require" me to buy something? nope, kiss my ass! It's the most un-American law ever made....

I seriously dont get how having Insurance really does spit anyway...if your deductible is $5,000 and you go to the ER cause you think you may have broken a bone, youre lookin at $1,000 just for the ER Visit and X-rays alone......so insurance doesnt do **** for you in that scenario, you gotta pay that $1,000 out of pocket, but oh Joy! only $4,000 more and then your Insurance will cover everything else if you get hurt or sick again in the same year!!

OR you find a plan with a lower deductible, but of course, a much higher monthly premium...It's a lose, lose unless you have pre-existing conditions or just know youre gonna be sick or hurt exorbitantly in a given year.....I would rather say f it and just take the shot to my credit score to be honest.....

Get health insurance company profit margins out of healthcare and costs go down. Provide preventative medicine and costs go down.

Healthcare is not a right.
Get a job! Where did you come up with that line? Very original and thought provoking.

That's not evident from the examples in other modern countries, which have extensive government involvement and are ALL far less expensive than ours, with better medical results.
