It goes like this: Bush "lied" about WMDs, but Hillary "made a mistake" when talking about her e-mail server and exposing classified information.
You are spot on LTR: Bush did lie about Weapons of Mass Destruction. They let him off the hook over family ties to the Bin Laden family after 9/11 and they even watched as emails disappeared by the thousands.
The left has never been as slimy as the right when it comes to "playing politics." Just the way it is.
If this "scandal" is all the righties have to talk about or run on will doom them and a good share of the senators their jobs come this November.
Of course most Democrats are embarrassed about the Clintons and I am sure if the Republicans had put up a decent candidate instead of Trump many would be voting for that choice.
To steal a little thunder from Trump himself "Hillary would have to shoot somebody on a public street" but Democrats would still rather have her as POTUS than Trump as would 65% of all voters.
I think it will hurt her in the general election. Any would be commander in chief who left hundreds of pieces of top secret data completely unsecure -- well her competence is clearly questionable. Way back in 2008, it was her own ad that asked the question, "Who do you want to answer the phone at 3AM?" Well, Hillary answered that question for us: Not her.
Still, I'm not crazy about the apparent double standard here. Anybody but Hillary would lose their government job and no government agency would hire them back again ever. They'd probably also do jail time.
It's just another problem with the two party system. The whole "us vs them" system means "our candidate" is above the law because our victory is way more important than anything else. Meanwhile, any offense by "their candidate," imagined or real, is sounded from the rooftops.

The United States props up dictator countries with our funds and monies, no I don't support it, but this is all the the Clinton Global Initiative, there are more moving parts in that foundation than just Bill and Hillary. I think we know that Hillary and the democratic party both denounce torture or oppression of gays, not so on the Trump side.
Her friends have terrorist connections? Is this like that story of Obama being friends with the terrorist guy from Chicago? That one turned out to be a big flop for the republican conspiracy theorists, just like the birther movement.
Yup, denounce it on one side of their mouth, while taking money to fund their lavish lifestyle from countries that torture and oppress gays and women.
And no, there are no more "moving parts" to the Clinton Foundation than Bill and Hillary. They run, it control and benefit handsomely from it.

Nah, it doesn't matter who the Republicans nominate. The brainwashed shills supporting crooked Hillary would still believe that her opponent was a racist and a bigot. Just like they believed was the case with moderates Romney and McCain.
Clinton talked about pushing for campaign finance reform today, she is lying again. She is more guilty than anyone running for office today with accepting bribes and foreign money. Her private mail server was necessary for her to run business on the side.
When the GOP gets slapped down on another phony scandal they've manufactured, that's ok.
