This is not a joke people. It's not American Idol where you can vote in the worst singer for a laugh.

God help us all.
Thanks, but Chicken Little has the job you are stumping for.

I think fear is your problem. Irrational fear.

Europe seems to have higher respect for blue collar workers than US, even tough it is so liberal, go figure. All the pinheads, analyze that.
A college's job isn't supposed to teach critical thinking, it just happens that it's a consequence of learning new knowledge do you start analyzing/critically think about issues independently.

The left should look at itself first.

Are you saying you're better than those people? This is the mind of a lefty loon folks. It explains everything.
While I do agree with your general sentiment that everyone does not need or want a degree from an overpriced school (and I do think some folks are condescending toward those who don't have them), I think you may be missing a big point, which really puts you in the camp of the person you were responding to.

The post you quoted did not mention an overpriced school, or even a piece of paper. It may have been implied, but you fell for the bait if it was.

I 100% agree with the person you quoted, America does need education, education, education.... That may be in the form of a degree, it may be in the form of a tech-school or vocational program, it may be on the job, or it may be travelling the world and experiencing it for ones-self.

I agree with your sentiment, but find it a bit disappointing that you exhibit the exact same bias you were posting against....

Just remember it was all started with the Tea Party. The GOP was the one who shut down the government, demanded my way or the highway. Insulted the current President countless times, disrespected his presidency by heckling for the first time ever in American politics. The right ought to take a look at itself and stop being children and be respectful with someone they don't agree with and throw a temper tantrum.

Out of that Tea Party movement, only then do you have the occupy wall street, then the far left coming in, those "socialists", the progressives having enough of the extremist right wing pushing their agenda and trying to get their way at whatever the cost.

Maybe this sums it up best; David Duke celebrated Mr. Trump’s victory on Tuesday night, tweeting, “It’s time to TAKE AMERICA BACK!!!”

I didn't vote for Trump/not a supporter, but given the vitriol on this board and elsewhere for the last few months toward Trump supporters, I can't say that I blame them.

Look, I'm not happy Trump won, but clutching our pearls and ranting fear will not help anyone.

I saw something from a young Muslim girl whose mother told her not to wear her hijab in spite of the fact that her mother is one of the most religious people she knows - that's not okay, and spreading the fear that this is what our country now stands for is not okay either.

Trump supporters have said over and over again that they are not intolerant or racist, so instead of spreading fear - hold them to it. Hold Trump and his supporters to the standard that they set - to make America great. Part of what makes America great is it's diversity.
