This is a very astute observation here.

God help us all.
The country will get to experience what extreme, alt right rule really looks like and folks it ain't pretty. Mr. Obama will be sorely missed once Trump and his goons get going. The white uneducated males won this for him. We need to get them in school ASAP! The takeaway from this result is education, education, education. It really does matter.

How do you know all of them want or need to go to a formal overpriced school and get a piece of paper? They might have their own business, be a farmer, went through an apprenticeship program for a union job, etc. Police officers in many cities do not need a degree, nor do firemen.

Are you saying you're better than those people? This is the mind of a lefty loon folks. It explains everything.

This is the thing that I don't understand, you will have to help me with. Al sharpton ,Jessie Jackson and Louis Farrakhan have no love for Obama or Hillary but the KKK and the Aryan Nation are bowing down to Trump. And its us who is racist.

I probably wouldn't get all giddy if I were you, I have said it before, Trump is a Trojan Horse.

With your attitude, you'll never respect what that piece of paper actually stands for. KNOWLEDGE.
Along with that beautiful thing that Americans can care less about, the ability to use one's head to analyze, problem solve, critically think, etc.. sorely missing from this country. We're getting owned by our industrialized neighbors and we wonder why the economy in limbo....

^^^This. Sorry, can't rep you.

Critical thinking skills are sorely lacking among our citizenry. I see so much intellectual laziness - not even truly "intellectual"; just the ability to think and write clearly, to do basic research, and to understand that everything online is not necessarily factual.

Our schools and families have their work cut out for them. But alas, I know a well-regarded, recognized public school teacher who could not distinguish between factual and unbiased online documentaries about the two presidential candidates and obvious smear pieces on YouTube. She stated that they were all documentaries, therefore they were all accurate and of equal value. This, from someone who'd taught our children for close to 30 years! Scary.

This intellectual deficiency and lack of awareness endangers not only the individuals who have it, but ultimately our nation's security and well-being

Trump refused to say "God Bless America" in his victory speech, but I guess that is to be expected from an atheist (or apathetic) president.

Modern colleges are teaching the opposite of critical thinking.. Independent thought is more highly represented outside of academia. Knowledge is free now. The elite highly educated are eating crow right about now. We need all kinds just like we always have. Young people will gravitate toward technical careers, they ALL should not have to be degreed cubicle farmers, everyone is not wired that way, there needs to be enough job diversity so everyone can find some place where they naturally fit in. Everyone is NOT college material as they say, and they do not deserve to be left out, they can and should be able to live and work, contribute and pay taxes like anyone else.

Europe seems to have higher respect for blue collar workers than US, even tough it is so liberal, go figure. All the pinheads, analyze that.
