[quote=Boss1234;50204893]Because President Trump doesn't let others walk all over him like Obama did.[/QUOTE

We hold our president to a higher standard, or at least we should. Obama took the high road and ignored the negatives. Our president works for us. Trump seems to thing we have to bow down for him

I'm confident that you and other liberals were trashing and smearing Bush when he was President, just as you're doing to Trump.

No, Trump was a respected president. He took the insults just like ever president does.

The nice thing about Trump is that he actually fights back, unlike Bush.

That is the thing. The Dems attacked Bush whenever he opened his mouth to the point that he stopped talking then they attacked him for not speaking and painted him as a fool that was hiding in the WH.

The Dems really do need another playbook because it sure is ugly and getting old but sadly it still works. Smearing the opposition and forcing doubt of a persons abilities is Liberal101 politics.

Trump does fight back and that has backfired on him. If he didn't say anything he would also be called out. He cannot win or even break even with the Dems and the Liberal media.

Obama was a smooth slicked up politician and the media loved him. Whenever he put his foot in his mouth which was rare it was quickly covered up or barely reported. There was a time early in his term when he was being interviewed and he referred to his muslim faith. The interviewer did not use his slip up as a "gotcha moment" but instead he corrected him by asking "don't you mean your christian faith"?

If Trump ever made a slip like that he would be crushed and the Left would be calling for his impeachment.
With Obama, it was nothing to see here folks move along.

There is no hope for Trump, he has no chance of ever being seen favorably by the Dems and Lefty media. They will continue to hammer on him until they are back in power.

Today I am still happy Trump won.

I agree. It is nice to have a president that will sling mud right back at the Dems, who will fight fire with fire. Being nice doesn't win you elections, especially when the left is calling every republican a racist, sexist, homophobic deplorable who is waging a "war against women"
