Republicans Are More Eager to Vote This Year Than Democrats - Rasmussen Reports®

Dems have taken the lead in polls; Trump's approval remains about the same as Obama's at this point in history.

No matter what comes out of the NoKo talks, Dems will claim the US was duped, and Pubs will claim a new world order has been established. I expect the Pubs will win the argument given the probability that the media will oversell its nonsense and undermine its already flagging credibility.

As er Rasmussen the approvals are similar, as per every other pollster, Trump's approvals are worse than Obama's at this point and 2010 was a terrible year for Democrats. Not that I believe this year will be quite as bad for the GOP as 2010 was for the Democrats, but Trump is in worse shape now than Obama was.

Rasmussen predicted a Hillary landslide on the day before the election of our great President Trump...so I don't trust any of them but Rasmussen is going to be more accurate than most.

All that happened here is that liberal pollsters have now had time to adjust their samples...JUST LIKE THE LAST ELECTIONS.

Boy are y'all going to be in for a surprise when the GOP retain both Senate and House.

You really should read the wikileaks. Liberal pollsters do this AT THE REQUEST OF THE DNC. You don't find it the least bit odd that the this alleged jump comes right after the primaries, just when the best economic news for Trump was just released?

Have you learned nothing?

Rasmussen was pretty much right in line with everyone else in 2016, they had Clinton winning. Rasmussen FWIW, was one of the worst in 2012.

You really need to look at this on a race by race basis because what good does it do if you win one seat 90-10 but then lose 3 seats by 40-60?

If you mash all the numbers together you "won" 210-190 but lost 3-1 on actual seats.

We should get a much clearer idea in a month or so as to how many seats are at risk, certain to lose etc. now that the primaries have completed and then see if there is a realistic chance of regaining the house\senate...but at this point even just narrowing the Republican advantage in the house might be a good first step.
I actually agree here

How so ? based on the latest results, Democrats improved in 7 of those 10 swing districts. Arguing that they didnt get over 50% is flawed on multiple levels.

Heck, Luther Strange got more votes than Doug Jones did in an 8 way primary and he didnt even win.
