Is that why California doesn't have two Dem candidates for Governor?

I'm actually betting that how Roseanne was treated will help (or certainly not harm) the GOP, as voters are turned off by the hypocrisy of the left, calling for Roseanne's head while standing behind that vile homophobe Joy Reid and similar controversies.

Imagine your parties fortunes being so bad that you actually think its winning argument to mention that California Dems only got 1 candidate in the top 2, instead of both, LOL

Considering Mike Pence is our VP, that argument is at best neutral, at worst, it is hypocrisy on your part.

The Republican party is never going to be on the winning side of an argument discussion homophobia because of who you continue to elect to public office.

Do explain how Mike Pence is a homophobe? Being opposed to changing the definition of marriage and supporting children being raised in a heterosexual household (there is merit to argument that there are certain things that only a man can teach a child due to his experiences as a male and certain things that only a woman can teach a child due to her experiences as a woman) doesn't make you a homophobe. Note, I write this as one who supports same sex marriage (just don't agree with the five justices that its a constitutional right that same sex couples be allowed to marry) and gay adoption.

Funny that you didn't actually address the issue/call out that bigoted fool, Joy Reid, instead choosing to attack our vice president.

Mike Pence can affect policy, Joy Reid can not.

The fact that you have a bigger problem with Reid than Pence is proof of hypocrisy on your part and that is why Republicans will always be on the losing side of this argument.

Never mind the fact that Reid has changed her ways, where as Pence has never once said his opinion has changed.

Lets make one last thing clear here.

Reid and Pence once believed the same, If you think Reid was homophobic(your words) then so is Pence now.

All the things you named are homophobic(Using God as your shield doesnt make something any less homophobic). And lets add in that he supports laws that allow businesses to discriminate against gay people.

In the context of your argument, all options where a child is in a loving home are better than being the ward of the state, which is the biggest flaw in your argument.

The Constitution does not prohibit it, and says all people are equal, therefore it is indeed a right.

1) Joy Red helps shape the national debate and can influence policy makers. She has a bully pulpit and is more unique/influential in that manner than Roseanne is. Yet, the left showed their hypocrisy by savagely going after Roseanne while being relatively muted about that homophobe Reid.

2) Why should I have a problem with Pence? Again, how is Pence a homophobe for believing in the traditional definition of marriage and having certain views about child rearing? And Reid is a liar who came up with laughable excuses about people hacking her account, only to go back on it somewhat when called for her BS. That is bad in and of itself.

3) Reid and Pence once believed the same? I don't recall Pence savagely disparaging gays and lesbians the way Reid did (and lied about not doing). Again, its not homophobic to hold to a traditional view of marriage/child rearing.

4) Supporting a law that allows for individuals to exercise religious freedom is not homophobic, just like supporting a law/constitutional amendment that prohibits government from regulating "hate" speech isn't supporting hate speech. Its anti big government stuffing its views down the back of the public.

5) The Constitution says nothing of the sort.
