No, there wasn't a blue wave. And the "credible," "legitimate" media, in amusing (and varying) degrees of disappointment and distress, said so:

The Democrats hoped for a blue wave that is not happening.

There's no blue wave or whatever you wanna call it.

It's not a blue wave, it's a rainbow wave.

It's not a wave. It's not a wave.

It's not going to be that blue wave landslide.

There's not gonna be a wave.

The blue wave clearly is not materializing.

I wouldn't really call it a wave, but it's a blue...move?...a blue.....

You can't call it a wave if you don't have a big statewide win anywhere. How do you call it a wave if you don't win Florida? How do you call it a wave if you don't win Missouri?

Tonight, there was some hope that the Democrats would have a wave election. There's not gonna be a wave election.

You can tell that there is not a blue wave forming. There is not a blue tsunami that is going to repudiate Donald Trump across the country.

When you look at what's going on here tonight, this is not a blue wave. This is not a wave that is knocking out all sorts of Republican incumbents.

It has to be said, the Democrats are having, so far, a lot of votes to come in, a very disappointing night.

But they don't have...there's no tsunami.

Winning the House is enough for them, but there's a lot of disappointments.

It's a heartbreaking night. It's heartbreaking.

My nails are so, like, clutching to hope.

The media clowns and liberal hacks were not happy. And when they're not happy, I am.

People like you keep pushing this nonsense. Why is it that every Republican president is characterized as a far right-wing Hitlerian type of person?

Every Republican is always assumed to be a racist, bigoted, homophobic, he-man woman hating, misogynistic, white supremacist, Hitler wannabe who wants dirty air and water, starve the little children, whose first agenda is to take away grandma's SS and Medicare before pushing her wheel chair off a cliff, and starting WWIII? It's a tired, old, childish, and vacuous line of thinking on the left. Sadly we see this regurgitated too often.

For the elected Democrats? It's simple, they want to raise our taxes to grow the federal government, to increase their power and influence over the people.

Even at that, our tax rates have ZERO impact on federal spending. Just look at our federal debt and fiscal deficit. The only reason the dems bother raising or lowering taxes, is because tax increases or reductions are tools to either punish their enemies or reward their friends and cronies, or to buy votes.

As far as the House goes, while it is certainly not 1994 or 2010 when it is all set and done this will the 3rd biggest House gain in a midterm since 1974, and either the 3rd or 4th biggest gain any year in the House since 1974 (GOP picked up 34 in 1980 and this looks like it will come close or exceed that)

What about 2010? Why skip past that political voter wave?

Since Trump took the electoral college majority in 2016, Republicans have lost 367 state legislative seats including 333 on Tuesday night - the most since Watergate. In two years, Trump has cost them over 1/3 of all the gains made during the Obama years. Each day since Tuesday, more House seats are called for the democrat. There will be some 37-38 before its over. The GOP in the northeast is dead. They lost everything, everywhere. The blue wave has not been this big since Nixon.

Even Texas where every Republican judge was voted out in one district and O’Rourke came closer than anyone thought possible.

And they are still counting in Florida.
How is this a good thing? Because every judge with an (R) must go, regardless of their competency? Do you live in the area, with actual knowledge of the daily living situation?

According to some professionals who had working knowledge of their job performances, some of those judges voted out were actuality competent in their jobs.

You mean like this guy?

I'm not saying it's a good thing or a bad thing - it's just a thing that suggests that in some places there was a blue wave.
