Trump is the odds on favorite to win 2020. Is he a sure thing? NO. But he's the favorite.
Trump likely wont' be impeached, and he certainly won't be convicted. Remember Bill Clinton, 1998? same thing. Impeachment is NOT equal to removal from office....sorry liberals.

Who the hell is Tom Steyer? He's not going to be president.

GOP lost seats in the mid terms --- which almost always happens to the president's party. Check your history. GOP GAINED seats in the Senate.

The entire debacle isn't Trump's fault because it's not a debacle.

Congratulations. Your post was really informative.
Sorry, Beer Geek.
Conviction of impeachment is removal from office. Removal is the penalty for the conviction.

Clinton was impeached but never convicted. Impeachment takes place in the House. The trial takes place in the Senate with the Supreme Court officiating.

Most don't have a clue about impeachment it's a political trial very little to do with law. Nixon was in office for more then 5 years before he was impeached. The watergate hotel break-in was in June of 72 Nixon's impeachment wasn't really inevitable until July of 74. It was during the investigation which got him in trouble where he was trying to obstruct justice instead of throwing his people under the bus. The congress at that time was firmly in the hands of the democrats then so Trump has had the luxury of congressional support until now. He has to face hearings in the house which will be lead by Liberal Democrats. Trumps way of dealing with this he will make more mistakes and obstruct justice he will lead the same path as Nixon. Nixon made a deal if he resigned he would end up with a pardon stay out of prison. Trump might not be so inclined to make a deal try to fight to the end that will be why he ends up on Prison.

How exactly would he do that. He has his base but has made no attempt to enlarge it. He just insults the rest of us.

Much depends on the trajectory of the economy, especially in the summer/fall months of 2020, whether or not all this trade and tax maneuvering will lead to noticeable gains in real wage growth, including manufacturing jobs, as well as farm incomes.

Obviously it's a big risk - give Trump credit for trying - and of course wonderful people at the Fed and in Congress, and their global corporate overlords, will do everything they can to prevent an improvement in the lot of average income earners legally on US soil, as they have done over the past 20-30 years.

The alternative is more of the same naturally, so-called republican or so-called democrat doesn't matter significantly in terms of reality on the ground.

Good Luck!

Collusion is very hard to prove. Income tax evasion isn't as hard, especially when Trump's lawyer and main financial consultant are both in jail and eager to come to a deal on the table.
I agree that impeachment is off of the table for Trump. My guess that Russian money laundering prior to his getting involved in politics will be his downfall. And the idea that this might finally come to light is what has him in his current frantic state of mind.

Not to mention young people who are becoming way more active and can't stand this clown. Needless to say minority groups are even more amped up to turnout and vote than ever before and that ain't changing anytime soon.

Dirty Donny is about to learn an important lesson - you win in politics by adding voters not subtracting them.

11/3/20 can't come soon enough!

GOP took a lashing in this mid-term election and the entire debacle is Trump's fault and the spineless GOP congress who wouldn't stand up to his crazy behavior.
The left were hoping to impeach Bush, but that never happened and now they want to impeach Trump and still hasn't happened. They are bitter that Clinton was impeached and want to pay the Republicans back.

Why would the blue collar Midwestern voters the Democrats have lost touch with go back to voting for a party that have become over the top PC SJW, wants to let in illegal immigrants, hates white men, and cares about "gender neutral bathrooms" while ignoring the everyday American.
