Yep, voters are so easily duped by the appeal of "free stuff"......as you (Cape Cod Todd) were duped in 2016.

Why play the moron? I think I might rather be a liar than a moron, but in fact I am neither.

White House hopeful Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) will give a speech next week in Washington, D.C., defending democratic socialism....The speech ... will address how “democratic socialism is the only way to defeat oligarchy and authoritarianism,” ....

Better

How can we make seeing a doctor more affordable?

Better

How can we help those willing to work earn more? without propping up anyone or anything?
Nobody wants to address how the propping up of investments isn't socialist in nature. Everyone supports socialism when they see it benefiting themselves. Some others, like Sanders want to see it benefit all.

Many unfortunately want to inject their socialism with greed.

Every single candidate running runs as a Democratic Socialist. Every single one whether they want to admit it or not. Trump's bail outs are a Democratic Socialism program. Nowhere in free markets or Capitalism do you find the bail out of private enterprises.

So now you judge those who don't agree with your premise.... interesting.

Bernie lies by omission. Socialism requires everyone pay for socialism, even the poor. Our (everyone) taxes will be 50-70% based on his vision.

Like I said socialism is a matter of degree. The US is a 2, Canada a 5, Norway a 7, Venezuela a 10. Nothing wrong with governments being guard rails for their citizens and taxes are the cost of citizenship, but ole Bern wants government to do the driving too.... and that will never, never happen.

The poor pay taxes. Will taxes go up? Maybe. Is that worse than adding 54 billion to the military and not pay for it at all?

Sanders is only advocating the expansion of programs we already have. I'd prefer the expansion of health care over the expansion of the war machine.

The Urban-Brookings Tax Policy Center estimates that in 2018, households in the lowest income quintile have a negative average income tax rate

Health care is important and no one is without healthcare services... ask any paramedic who provides taxpayer hospital delivery services to the poorest people.

When you pick something up from the store, don't you wanna know how much it'll cost? Imagine shopping at Walmart or Amazon and not see a price. That is reserved for those who care little about the actual cost. Me and probably 99% of americans want to know ... "how much"? Bernie via the lie of omission, never speaks about cost in real numbers. He says it will cost more for the rich, bu come on, what a bunch of BS.

In addition if you believe for one minute a Neville Chamberlain approach to authoritarian governments around the world by weakening our military and reducing funding is a strategic approach... then the rock you live under has you trapped.

History does not predict the future, but most certainly it's a warning.

The reality is... Ole Bern is unelectable and for good reason if you have a brain.

Probably so.

It's cheaper to address issues before it's gets to the E.R. level.

Without some context I have no idea what you say he is saying.

We are weakening our military by spreading it all over the world.

Good lands. Such hyperbole, fear, and fear mongering in one post.
Democrats hate and fear mongering franchise exists only to frighten people and put fear in their hearts over republican policies..... No other way to forward an agenda that is so disliked.

Dems are projectionist experts, where they reflect the charges levied against them, onto their opponents.

That the dems are condemning in their opponents, the exact same behavior they exhibit, is both sad and hilarious and dreadfully pathetic.

I guess common sense is no longer in play when it comes to know what people are saying. You just give your 'thoughts" without any rational understanding of fundamentals of how the world works.
