When are Trumpkins gonna realize that Trump is on his way to a massive loss. Not a squeker like 2000, not a narrow John Kerry type loss, not a modest Romney 2012 type loss, but utter annihilation with Biden getting as much as 400+ EC votes

Its not because theres a grand conspiracy involving the media and the pollsters but because Trump has objectively done a terrible job, has never been popular, and his 2016 victory was a fluke.

Theres a reason that the only proof Trumpkins have on this site for Trump winning come from random Twitter accounts and obscure websites. Its so objectively obvious that hes going to lose that you have to resort to avoiding reality and letting confirmation bias kick in.

Some clarity here, it's just one poll. We had another A rated pollster give Biden +3. Both that and this poll are likely outliers.

What has happen is Biden has seen his average poll lead go from +6 to +9, i.e. a modest gain, which is probably more accurate. Trumps erratic behaviour both at the debate and in the hospital AND his tax returns have all contributed to this.

You couldn't be further from the truth. It is just the opposite. The low was achieved some four years ago when not even a plurality of those that voted helped to select a president who has done all he can to destroy America. They put a vile racist in the WH that has only further divided the nation and sown mistrust in all US institutions.

A total of 1,205 adults were interviewed by telephone nationwide by live interviewers calling both landline and cell phones. Interviews were conducted in English and Spanish. Among the entire sample, 33% described themselves as Democrats, 28% described themselves as Republicans, and 39% described themselves as independents or members of another party.
So Biden +16. Let's assume that all Republicans vote Republican and all Democrats vote Democrat. That is a 5 point advantage for Democrats. That means the remaining Independents are voting 2 to 1 for Biden. While that does seem high, Trump can't even afford to break even with Independents. He needs a majority of them to vote for him in order to win in 2020.

Another thing to keep in mind is that Independents aren't Trump Loyalists nor are they blindly voting for Biden. They are listening to the candidates and, according to CNN, reporting that they prefer Biden over Trump.

Elections always come down to Independents. Your base can't win you an election alone. Look at the 2018 Midterms. 30% reportedly were Independents. They voted for Democrats by 12 points. That's the difference. What has Trump done differently between Nov 2018 and today to win over those Independents? Remember, these people are less likely to blindly believe what Fox News or CNN report. They likely are looking at things through a less biased lens. I don't know if there's an argument to be made that Trump has won these voters over. He essentially lost them between 2016 and 2018. Trump won Independents by 4 points in 2016. And then down by 12 points in 2018. In the interim, Democrats also gained 1% of party identification.

If Biden was winning by 16 points he would win Kansas and Nebraska

If Biden was up 9 he would be camping out in Texas. Not playing defense in Michigan

At most he's up 3 but I doubt even that

Fox News reported on October 4th that Biden was up by 14 points, according to the WSJ.

Fox has also used CNN reports of Covid-19 victims since the pandemic began.

Apparently there is a disconnect between Fox and trumpies.

Well, if the sample group includes a majority of Dems, it's not exactly surprising if the "poll" shows a Biden win.
