Are you looking for the link to the birth announcement. Geez, I've posted that at least three times. Clearly you only see what you want to see.
But I'll play, here it is again:
"In fact, the conspiracy would need to be even deeper than our colleagues realized. In late July, a researcher looking to dig up dirt on Obama instead found a birth announcement that had been published in the Honolulu Advertiser on Sunday, Aug. 13, 1961:
I think the confusion is Barack also qualified for British Overseas Territory citizenship since his father was from Kenya. He did nothing and it expired.
Countries have strange citizenship rules. For example, Cuban-Americans born in Cuba are considered by the Cuban government as Cubans (and can be hauled in the military if they pay a visit).
When the Argentine financial crisis came about and its currently fell three-fold, many native Argentinians suddenly realized they could claim Italian citizenship through their grandparents.
A friend of mine got an Irish passport and citizenship. She had never been to Ireland but her father was born in Ireland. This is the closest example for Barack.

Here is what I found... (so yes he held Kenyan citizenship up until 1982 when Zero turned 21 years old)
“When Barack Obama Jr. was born on Aug. 4,1961, in Honolulu, Kenya was a British colony, still part of the United Kingdom’s dwindling empire. As a Kenyan native, Barack Obama Sr. was a British subject whose citizenship status was governed by The British Nationality Act of 1948. That same act governed the status of Obama Sr.‘s children.
Since Sen. Obama has neither renounced his U.S. citizenship nor sworn an oath of allegiance to Kenya, his Kenyan citizenship automatically expired on Aug. 4,1982.”
Children born to Americans in American soil do not need to be REGISTERED. The birth certificate is your proof of citizenship.
You ONLY need to register American citizens who are born outside the United States. This is called a Report of birth abroad by a US citizen.
Here is a link to the US Embassy in Montevideo:
Embassy of the United States of America - Montevideo, Uruguay (http://montevideo.usembassy.gov/usaweb/paginas/11-00EN.shtml#BIRTHOFAMERICANCITIZENABROAD - broken link)
Since the OP is craniallay challenged, I cut and paste the appropriate passage:
"BIRTH OF AMERICAN CITIZEN ABROAD
Most children born abroad to a U.S. citizen parent or parents acquire U.S. citizenship at birth. During her pregnancy, the mother should come to the Consular Section. As soon as possible after the birth, the U.S. citizen parent should contact the nearest American Embassy or Consulate. When we confirm that the child has acquired U.S. citizenship, we prepare a "Report of Birth Abroad of a Citizen of the United States of America."

Not correct. To be POTUS, you must be Natural Born citizen. The matter is complicated because his father was Kenyan. Naturalized and Natural Born are two different things.
YAY a Kenyan and a Panamanian running!
Isn't life grand!
