I am saying I am well familiar with how the authoritarian state establishes itself, how it works.

And I can see that Ukraine is one, and I can see how and why it was done.

So you are talking in circles and hoping no one notices. You chastised another poster for not knowing what they were talking about because they only visited and studied Russia, claiming that you LIVED there, and then proceeded to talk about how it is in Ukraine.

So you never lived in Ukraine, but you proclaim that you are the expert about anything in Ukraine. And why? Because you LIVED there (not really, you lived in the Soviet Union and then tucked tail and headed for the despised West), and then hope no one figures it out.

You are so full of it, that it is pouring out of your orifices. You talk about what you can see - you only see what you want to see. And that is - Russia as the victim of everyone, everywhere, every time. Or maybe it is because like Putin, you believe that Ukraine is "Ukraine" - a non-state that was never really entitled to self-determination, it was just another of mother Russia's many great occupied territories. Chalk it up to Russian chauvinism.

Thank goodness none of my Russian friends are like this.

I'm not sure how America lost. Ties with allies have been strengthened as a result, the presence on the international stage enhanced. Russia? They've been ostracised by much of the world, their military ineptitude bared for the world to see, and their economy is struggling (and it will only get worse).

Let me help you out, since you are confused again.

I pointed at the fact that Ukraine is an authoritarian state, while some are trying to claim otherwise.

I can recognize all the signs, because I used to live in one.

I'd say delusions of grandeur, Stockholm syndrome, intellectual dishonesty, a good dose of Russian chauvinism/exceptionalism, and being confidently incorrect, based on what has been shared. Tunnel vision and hypocrisy are also rampant.

This feigned ignorance is a nice touch - thanks for the comic relief.
