I never wear the same bra twice without washing it. I buy a half dozen very good quality ones at the Vanity Fair Outlet every year. I hand wash them in lukewarm water to make them last longer. I work as a cook in a high school cafeteria and work around ovens, pots, and steamers. I am often drenched with sweat when I go home, even in winter. I read that washing them in a standard washing machine, even on delicate cycle, wears them out faster.
DH would always get annoyed when finding my bras in the bathroom sink...so he bought me a little countertop washer for doing "delicates".

Lol, one of my college roommates used a salad spinner for her undies!
What is it with all of the drama over unwashed bras? Would you go apoplectic if I mentioned that I sometimes skip taking my daily shower and wear yesterday's boulder holder?
Frankly I've never spent any time wondering about how frequently other women launder their undergarments.
I haven't either. But after seeing this thread I do remember some of the outright dirty greasy looking bras some girls had on in the gym locker room. Apparently some of them haven't changed.
Why do we even care what other people do with their bras?
