If you think not washing bras is bad, there are plenty of people who don't bathe every day. They take sponge baths and say they're clean. To each their own, I guess.
I guess the professional "bra fitters" in Nordstroms and the few small boutiques where I've been fitted were all full of ****, then. But, this method has worked well for me, so I'll stick with it.
Of course, whatever works for you. But I did post links to verify the proper method. Obviously, there will be those that have differing thoughts.
Oh, and Nordstroms was one of the places that told me this, so clearly they are not all trained in the same way.

It's not hard. It's just not necessary for some people. The way you choose to live your life does not mean that everyone that chooses differently is wrong. I used to always hear gals talk about how they just had to wash their hair every day because they couldn't stand the "dirty hair". I never would do that. Too damn time-consuming and my hair would just get too dry if I did that. Of course now the " experts" say that was all wrong. Much healthier for the hair to not get washed as often.
I'm getting ready to go on a trip for work, and when I was packing my suitcase last night I thought of this thread as I put in two bras (for five days.)
Exactly. I went to Europe for 10 days and took 2 bras. Not sure how I ever managed.
Yes you mentioned Victoria's Secret earlier, which IMO are junk. So I suspect we have wildly differing opinions on what is acceptable.
As to your other comment, I keep a capsule wardrobe. So yes, even my jeans are quality and do last years n
I never mentioned Victoria Secret? It is not about if they last for years. If they do great. It is about people feeling like a pair of jeans needs to last for years and needs to be preserved for some mystical purpose.
And if you're only wearing clothes once that would require 10-15 different outfits. Forget it.
Yep. I was traveling with 2 15-yearolds, so my rule was one carry-on suitcase for each of us. Panties got washed in the sink. Everything else was worn more than once, obviously.

And no one smelled. Imagine!
I think that's another aspect to this. Whether or not someone has kids is going to impact laundry based decisions. At least for me it does. I feel like all I'm every doing is laundry, or folding and putting away laundry, and 99% of the time it's not mine.
