I don't think he's insinuating there's a problem. He may just not want to give the impression that he's something that he's not.

I think any face piercings are ugly and tacky looking. Also dangerous. Can get caught on something and ripped off. Ever seen the scene in Chucky movie where he rips off the guys mouth piercing and he bleeds to death? No thanks.

Because we should base all of our life decisions on a Chucky movie.

Yes and guys do it in the worst ways than women. I've seen guys with ridiculous thick rings clipped to show he's some amazon tribal warrior. Or he's trying to look like a bull. It's rare for any guy to pull off the nose piercing look without looking too tribal or circus freak show.

I would only want a small or medium diamond or fake diamond stud and not a ring, but I think it would look bad at work. So maybe I get it on a Friday or before a week off to heal and then can take it out for workdays.

Chucky, the fictional movie where a doll is possessed by a serial killer? Warning noted. LOL

If you're concerned about solicitations for gay sex, just say "No." Same goes for negative comments. have both earlobes double pierced and only got one negative comment - from a friend I'd known for 50 years. I turned it into a joke, we both laughed and continued drinking. No big deal. It's all about a confident attitude. If you really want a stud I'd suggest a plain gold ball instead od the diamond/crystal women seem to prefer.
