There are some people who wears baseball caps are trying way to hard to be cool and there are others out there who wears them just because. I've been wanting to buy a pair of nude leather baseball cap because it's super cute and the block the sun. I'm afraid people might think I'm trying to cool because it is a more stylish baseball cap.
When I wear a baseball-style hat (none of which have anything to do with baseball - I have a couple from National Parks I've visited, and one from a lodge I frequent now and then in northern Minnesota), it's because I want to keep the sun out of my eyes or because it's chilly out and I want to keep my head warm.
And I couldn't possibly care any less whether or not you approve.
I have worn baseball caps since the 80s.
LOVE them.
and I am not trying to be cool, but I do get compliments when I wear them...
I have stopped wearing ones with logos..
I like colored ones, or ones that are slightly tattered when I am going for my edgey look.
Are people who wear Baseball Caps Cool? Or are they just posers who think they're cool by wearing a baseball cap, and usually backwards?
Have you ever socialized with such people and how did they turn out?
I don't try to be cool by wearing a baseball cap... not my thing...
The trend that confuses me the most is when people leave the sticker on the front of the cap as a sign of it being official. I have been so tempted to just pull if off as ... subconsciously it seems like someone has a tag of their clothes and pulling it off would be the right thing to do.

I don't wear them, but Luke on The Gilmore Girls wears one backwards. I think he's totally cool, and I'd socialize with him in a nana second , doubt he'd want to hang out with me though .
The first thing I think when I see a guy in a baseball cap is that he is bald. Or got up too late to wash his hair. I think baseball caps are great when you are out in the sun, playing baseball, fishing, golf, beach, etc. I wear them too!
I don't like seeing them in restaurants or indoor venues.
