Thats great news. My husband put out 13 or 14, maybe more, I can't remember now, resumes and has 3 interviews lined up which means now he has to travel down there without me..aww..to interview.

Where are you love? That is awsome! She really was out there pounding the pavement and got 2 interviews just by walking into a place - LOL. I wish your husband luck! Hopefully, they will both get a job. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I wish you both luck as well. What kinds of jobs are they looking for?

When I moved down here I got 3 JOB OFFERS. I was pitting two against the another for the most salary. When my daughter moved down here, she got a JOB OFFER in less than a week. She also got a JOB OFFER in less than a week in NY while still living in Florida (she is moving back next week), with just a PHONE INTERVIEW, sight unseen.

As that song goes, "If you can make it here (NY), you'll make it ANYWHERE". It is very, very true. Maybe Flroidians don't like New Yorkers, but Floridian EMPLOYERS definitely do.

How long did YOU live in Florida before YOU moved out? We have to FOCUS on this.

Hey, hey, hey - what are you so crabby for. If you don't care that she got the interview, why did you respond to my post? I've been nothing but nice to you and what you did right now was just out right rude. I was happy when you mentioned that your daughter got her job with a phone interview (we all have heard it in about 45 posts), I thought that was great. I would never be so thoughtless as to say "so what" if someone was sharing what they deemed good news.

Tanaples, Sunrico is right, you have a problem. I like your daughter and don't want to seem disrespectful to her, but do me a favor don't post responses to anything I have to say - you are combative and that is being nice. You really should focus your attention on other things and perhaps your stay will be better spent there.

I wish her luck in her search. She was very lucky as most employers these days just tell you to apply online. Maybe by making a personal appearance, she made herself stand out over the other applicants, or maybe she was just at the right place at the right time.
