With temps approaching 100 degrees again today we are trying to eat light and I don't want to even look at the stove, much less turn it on. Yesterday we did our Sam's run, I picked up a rotisserie chicken so that will be dinner (well not the whole chicken) add a nice green salad and that will be about it. I might do a potato as well.
It's date night in-
T-bone steaks
Lobster tails
Red potatoes tossed with garlic lemon butter
Corn on the cob
Wine
Puff pastry filled with cream, strawberries, almonds and orange zest. The husband calls them baby angels.
Thursday: a little bit of steak left in the freezer, so we had it cut up in a salad. Marinated it first then mixed with lettuce, cheese, olives, oregano and Catalina dressing, It was good.
