WHAT, lasagna in a ""WHAT""!! And hubby has to p/u my Ricotta so that I can get the pans done for my hairdresser on Friday, the vet and family next week, my gp and of course us, on Christmas day. I am making the meatballs today and freezing them, so that I can brake them up over the cheese and gravy for the lasagna.
About my previous post, if we do have a city data throwdown, my competitor in the Lasagna department is my good foodie buddy Cyn.
Cyn: I am challenging you to a Lasagna throwdown!! kelsie

Elston-you don't have to boil the noodles-get Barilla no boil. Gravy and meatballs I always have made the day before prep, plus have the ricotta mixed and in refrig, so it's just assembly.

Cyn with all you've been doing that's fine.

a "food throw down"!??? omg that sounds like Animal House......To me cooking is the zen art of hospitality and achieving oneness with body and universe and community; rather like a tea ceremony (kaiseki).....please not an iron chef battle of the pans.

45 BELOW! Holy Crow!!!!! That is horrible! That is like Siberia! I thought I lived in the ICE Belt.... It is so windy here... the back door to my family room was unlocked and when i got home it had blown OPEN!!!!!!!!! i don't even know how long it was left like that! I have been gone since 8:30 this morn and just walked in. I am a tad worried about my new floor..... there was some water on it from the rain.... Do you think it will be alright?????? I don't think hubby shut the door all the way this morning when he let the dog in. The gusts are really strong.... UGH....

PTA took over my life today and I am so tired from all the CACUSS going ons last night LOL I stayed up much too late for my own good.... And I can't believe I spelled it wrong AGAIN!!!!! That second time (and I know I spelled it cacuss here- it was a joke people)..... Anyway.... Still not done with PTA stuff.... I did have a menu planned but.... Now I am thinking of just popping open a can of Campbell's for the kids..... I am so tired and I still have so much more to do tonight. I have an assembly tomorrow I am organizing.... Gotta finish up.... Will do that work while Diva is at class. Hubby is working SUPER late tonight so he doesn't have to work Christmas Eve- fingers crossed he doesn't have to (that is MY Christmas).....

Well, there seems to be some traumatic situation about cheerleading pom poms and not sharing.... someone isn't being nice and tears are pouring.... I must run..... anyone have an espresso handy?

I have to admit, I have been known to keep a Stouffer's lasagna in the freezer as an emergency dinner, for when there is no time/energy to cook.
