i had a co worker who would sniff her food. not the plate of food, not the first bite, EVERY SINGLE BITE was sniffed, forkful by forkful, bite by bite, until it was gone.
When I dump a bag of cookies in the cookie jar, I eat the broken cookies and pieces first, until finally just the perfect whole ones are left Then I eat them
I used to eat broken pieces first, of everything like potato chips. But my wife came along, and she grabs the whole one's I've been saving, before I even get to them. Grr. She eats faster than I do, and I always give her my last bite of anything she especially likes, even if I like it too.
Never ever ever eat the top crust of a loaf of sliced bread (maybe it's poisonous or something) - always take the slices from under the crust LOL
Same here. Although I start in the middle where it's the softest.
What else? When I eat pudding or cake it must be in a bowl with milk poured on top. Not drowning it but still enough to make it mushy and creamy.
Celery I alternate ends. One bite at one end and next bite at the other and so on.
And lastly if I have something like meat, veggies and potatoes or rice I end up mixing them all together on my plate like a four year old. It's quite gross to look at but tastes so good.
My bf from many years ago used to mix together the strangest things. The most unusual combination? Tuna from the can mixed with pork and beans. Looked totally nasty, but he loved it.
All my food has to end at the same time. I have to judge my bites so that I do not eat too much of one thing (i.e. beans) and then have it run out before I finish everything else. So I eat a bite of this, and then a bite of that and then maybe two bites of something else (if there is a lot of it), so that it is all gone on the very last bite EVENLY.
And I love to eat butter cold and chunky. I always butter my toast in portions and then eat it really fast before the butter melts.
