Leftovers: Meatballs, spaghetti with a Marinara sauce and steamed green beans. I'll throw some grated Parmesan cheese on the spaghetti along with thinly sliced Serrano peppers.
Leading up to Diwali on Wednesday that my in laws celebrate we ladies have been making sweets over the weekend like kheer ( rice pudding ) carrot halva,semolina halva and laddoos) Tonight we have saag and paneer (pureed spinach with cheese),chapatis,homemade yogurt,a plate of onion,tomato,cucumber slices,lassi or water. For dessert kheer ( rice pudding with rose water and roasted pecans and a cup of Darjeeling tea.
