It is Good Friday ( Karfreitag) so tonight a very simple dinner Bread soup and a glass of water. For dessert 1/2 a pink grapefruit.

1 onion
2 clove of garlic
200 g Farmers bread
3 tblsp butter
1 1/2 Liter vegetable broth
salt/black pepper to taste
generously cut chives

My wife is making teriyaki wings tonight. We will eat with celery and salad. There's a few Bud Light beers also!

Tonight we're having cioppino, toasted Italian loaf (with garlic butter and fresh parsley), a bottle of Barolo and caramel apple cupcakes.

Kitchen is closed until the refrigerator is cleaned out. I am going to make another Huckleberry Cobbler though.

I found some fresh Dover Sole (the real thing), so we're having Dover Sole with some roasted veggies.

I'm going to make a sauce with plain greek yogurt, chicken broth, and sauteed cremini mushrooms, and will add leftover turkey meatballs from yesterday to be served over penne pasta. Green beans on the side unless I decide to keep them for Sunday.

Just a side note...

Do you realize that white button mushrooms, Crimini mushrooms, and Portobello mushrooms are all the same mushroom at different stages of development?
