Happy Belated New Year to my CD Food Family! I just recovered from the flu so I didn't have a very exciting New Year's celebration. I wanted to make it up to my husband and give him a satisfying and stick-to-his-ribs kind of dinner.
Tonight we are having a Southern meal: fried bone-in pork chops, red beans and rice, roasted green beans and mushrooms, buttermilk biscuits with fig jelly and chocolate pie for dessert.
