snow expected this evening. 3-7 inches which is a lot for NC. This means my son will probably not be able to take his flight Saturday night on his way back home to Kazakhstan. GOODIE!!!!!
Tonight I will have
Temps in the 40's is an "arctic blast"? Heck, in Chicago, we call that "Spring".
You tell hubby, "Pish Posh - I like it, I want it, and I'm making it. If you don't like it, you know where the stove is."
And now, I want Tuna Noodle Casserole.
I'll probably end up having Shells & Cheese. That's toasty, keep warm food, and it makes me happy. Husband has chili thawing on the counter so that's what he's planning on having.
Yes, they'll probable close school on Monday for fear of slippery roads...too funny.
If I have the stuff, I'll make the tuna casserole. Hubby will like it, but he doesn't like the idea of it. My alternate is boxed Mac and cheese with hotdogs.
Tonight (warning I'm going to brag about my kid) is the first practice for ski race team my ten year old son. He's on the Special Olympics team for the mountain we usually ski. He is autistic and a complete natural on skis. Anywho I'll be at practice 5:30 to 8:30 so I'm bringing fruit salad and a hunk of cheddar for dinner. Water to drink.
Happy Thursday!
You must be so proud of him! Your sharing, not bragging.
Tonight beer battered Fish Filet, with Eggplant and peas in a Rosemary -Beer sauce, (sounds unusual but delicious)
Served with egg noodles and a green salad. Crusty Rosemary bread and a good beer. Probably a Stella because that's what we have.
A bit of creamed spinach, followed by a sweet potato with a chicken patty and a bottle of water.
