Oven bbq chicken legs and noodles for me and French fries for hubby. Comfort food for an icy, snowy, freaking cold day. I hate cold weather!

I make a persimmon chutney with Fuyu persimmons. They are also very good sliced, then grilled or roasted.

If I have the stuff, I'll make the tuna casserole. Hubby will like it, but he doesn't like the idea of it. My alternate is boxed Mac and cheese with hotdogs.
So, I made the tuna casserole, with a few concessions because of what was in the pantry. It is so fabulous, I can hardly stand it. Awesome. Hubby liked it just fine, as I knew he would.

Husband loves tuna casserole. Have to add that to the menu!

Not sure what husband is scrounging up. I'm almost done with yearly payroll taxes. Just the State left to go. Hope to have those done tonight. Will go down and pull proteins out of the freezer for the next week or so. It's been -4 to -12° here all week. Comfort foods coming up, for sure.

I drove 300-mi today, so only had dinner. Stopped at Whole Foods for an everything pizza slice. Really good. Would have been better if I weren't eating it in the car while listening to a comedian, cuz like a knucklehead, I laughed, inhaled & choked for 10-min on the crust.

Next time I'll stick to mashed potatoes.
