The leftover Paula Deen Chicken Divan. Better the second time.
May I ask how you liked the recipe? I have one from my SIL but it can be time intensive to prepare - I'm looking to find one that will let me get my inner "throw it together, add cheese, breadcrumbs, and slap it in the oven" on!

How ridiculous am I? I've *heard* of Chicken Divan but I never knew what it was. Chicken and broccoli and cheese? I love all of those things. I'm going to make it this weekend!
I'm doing this one, though, because I don't want to add sour cream or mayo. Or white wine (but only because I don't have any).
Picked up some beautiful sea scallops at Wegman's yesterday. Tonight I will pan sear them using an Alton Brown recipe. This is a first for me as I usually grill them wrapped in prosciutto. I'll serve them with a mixed citrus salad on a bed of arugula.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Friday!!
We will have the rest of the pork loin I baked a couple days ago or part of it anyway. It is in a nice pesto and pineapple sauce: sweet, with an herbal flavor. I am going to simply cooked up some noodles, mix with butter and for a salad I think we will have carrot and crasin. that is on the menu anyway and spoiled brat loves it. For a green which we have every night I will saute a little bok choy.
