Leftovers. I think I will make a homemade batch of udon noodle soup to use up a bunch of veggies, I'll enjoy that and DH will get the leftover pizza and meatloaf, so he will be happy.

Alm that looks so good!! Maybe tomorrow night we can do that with apple sauce and peaches (gotta use what you gotta use). Maybe make a compote and add some spices.....

Leftovers here. We split the sub from Subway and the breakfast burrito and toasted.
I'm finishing off the rest of the cider from the farmers market and Mr C has his glass of beer from the growler.

Baked beans and Near East toasted almond pilaf. Not exactly a match, but a complete protein..

The Mr. has half a ham sandwich from lunch time.

Salmon again tonight with some English cucumber and sweet onion drizzled with vinegary oil, potato salad and tea. There is a fresh made apple strudel for dessert. This menu is the final edition gone to print.

Today is a sad day in my culinary world. Our favorite restaurant has decided to close. This is their last weekend. Reservations were hard to come by but I did snag an early one.
First they gave us Iraqi bread with sea salted house made butter.

We then split a charcuterie board.

I had a 30 day dry aged NY strip with herb season fries drizzled with a horseradish aioli and dressed greens.

I had a beer from Jacks Abby. Now I am having a Narragansett for dessert while getting ready to watch my Sox try to go up by 3.

I am truly going to miss Kummerspeck. It was a very special and wonderful restaurant. http://kummerspeckfoods.com/
