On our last trip costco had their pre-made pizzas..... dare I hope they are back for good?

Anyway, we have one in freezer that we will grill tonight, from memory these are the things I need to use up: mushrooms, part of a left over tomato, same with onion, some spinach and arugula... I think that's it.

Oops, also some canadian bacon.

Busy weekend.

Friday was a dinner at the university, so a night off yay!

Saturday was a birthday dinner for my daughter. We had 30 guests. I made meat sandwiches, eaten like a sloppy joe, but totally different flavor than a joe. The meat has warm spices - fresh ginger and cloves in it. It's absolutely delicious. I served it on toasted rolls with roast new potatoes, roast carrots with honey garlic butter and feta sprinkled over the top, greens in vinaigrette with toasted pecans and dried cranberries. People came back for 3rds. Dessert was slab apple pie and vanilla ice cream topped with burnt salted caramel. Hot apple cider to drink. I believe there was a bonfire and marshmallows somewhere around midnight.

Sunday was leftovers.

I have no idea what I am making today
