We are having steak tacos, beans and rice. Simple, but good while we watch the Dodgers beat the Sox.

A lot healthier, and I bet much much better tasting too. Love soup.

Last night I had the last of an oven roasted chicken breast sliced up into a lettuce wrap with some colby cheese. Still hungry so I had a pkg of steamable cauliflower with a little olive oil.

The plan for tonight is smoked salmon from the grill. I have two wild caught whole filets to put on later. This is probably a I want it but it will not materialize until tomorrow. If I rush it the seasonings probably will not be set. For sides we have some local grown sweet potatoes and a big red tomato.

I was just gonna say half the fun of MS's pictures is seeing the ever-hopeful look in Blitzen's eyes.

DH has been running around like a crazy man helping Bachelor Son with car problems, next door neighbor with lawn mower problems and a friend with hauling stuff to the landfill. So he hasn't been grocery shopping for a while.

I haven't gone either because I have been using these lovely fall days to recreate outdoors while I can enjoy it and decorating the yard for Halloween.

So tonight it's leftover pork roast barbeque sandwiches and fruit salad. And whatever else is in the refrigerator that's desirable, which is mostly condiments, I guess.

With two freezers there's always something that can be found if anyone is willing to look. That's usually me. My men people have that mindset that if it isn't in front of you and already prepared it must not be edible. Horribly spoiled, I'm afraid.

Later this afternoon I'm going to make some pecan caramel rolls.
