My husband has been complaining about Macaroni and Cheese - NOT the Kraft variety, but an ultra-rich, and decadent version that I made frequently for buffets, side dishes, and holidays as well as a family meal. Bubbly, baked and crispy, topped with real butter and crunch bread crumbs.

Well, he can't eat that anymore. Pretty much ever. So I spent the morning looking thru the internet and cookbooks and came up with Baked Butternut Squash Macaroni and Cheese. I topped it with browned crunch bread crumbs and served it with a chopped cabbage salad with a honey mustard vinegarette, and sliced pickled beets - not homemade, I picked them up in Amish Country last weekend. *ALMOST* as good as my German grandmother's. The right amount of cloves, and not overly sweet.

We had watermelon slices for dessert.

I had a Reingeist Ohio craft beer with dinner, my husband had an Arnold Palmer spiked with a 1/2 shot of Gin.

After thinking and thinking plus arguing with myself I decided to order curb side pick up from our club restaurant this afternoon. At this point I have no idea what we will decide on ordering. Sometimes we do small salads and an appetizer and sometimes we get the small plate dinners. I will talk to spoiled brat and see what he thinks. Right now anything would taste good; I cleaned out the freezer or 1/2 ass cleaned and reorganized it early this morning and now I am ready for breakfast

I made Mediterranean chicken with artichokes, capers, kalamata olives, garlic chopped dice tomatoes, fresh basil and parsley. I added a small carton of Pomi Strained tomatoes to it and I am serving it over spaghetti.
