I had a bowl of Trader Joe's roasted tomato and red pepper soup (it is very good) and a grilled meatloaf sandwich (I had defrosted a few slices). Fresh garden tomatoes and a lemon biscotti with decaf coffee for dessert.

Lamb shanks which I roasted really slowly for about 3 hours with some chunky cut potatoes, fat tomatoes, carrots, onions, scallions, fresh Rosemary and a ton of garlic.
Fabulously gooey and unctuous with the meat falling of the bone.
