Today we start our canning weekend so thankfully a friend brought over a wonderful chicken noodle casserole along with bag salad and nut bread. So are all set. All I will have to do is come home from daughters with a car full of freshly canned salsas, jams and empty the car. Then it is in the house, pour that glass of wine and relax. Spoiled brat will help me with the jars of fresh salsas. We will make 2 salsas, regular which is pretty spicy and a milder tomatilla.
Last night, pork in a green chili sauce. My B-Day dinner plans got postponed until the weekend. Now they are further postponed due to an unwanted visitor. Unsure about tonight as we will be preparing for a hurricane/tropical storm. Although NOAA predicts it to just touch the NE corner of Broward county.
Sloppy Joes, crinkle cut French fries, chocolate milkshakes and rice krispie bars.
