Leftovers. I'm not feeling well (nothing contagious ), and I am pretty much keeping the couch warm.

We were out shoping etc and decided to order from Taco Bell. Those toasted cheddar Chalupas are quite tasty.
Had a couple and split a burrito with Mr C. Small glass of Sangria & water. Quite full now.

Hopefully you'll be feeling better soon Mikala!

Made a vegetable pot pie with a cheddar biscuit crust -https://www.marthastewart.com/1154179/winter-vegetable-potpie-cheddar-biscuit-topping

Served it with Carolina Coleslaw.

I did NOT make the cheddar biscuit crust myself. I used Red Lobster's Cheddar Bay biscuit mix, which I had on hand. It came out so well that I'll make it again.

I love their biscuits, I have a small box in the pantry that I am saving for a special occasion. I try to lump all my off limit foods into one big day of gluttony.

I'm making some pernil (Puerto Rican roast pork), potato salad, and coconut rice and beans. Still trying to decide whether to fry some of the sweet plantains I bought yesterday
