Prosciutto de Parma, white asparagus, Hollandaise, fried egg on top of toasts. Kind of a brunch dish, but still made for a nice dinner.

35 minutes to go today... I broke out the smoker today and Mrs Driver brought home a couple bags of apple wood chunks. So I built a nice slow, smokey fire and threw a rack of pork ribs in for a smokey afternoon. Broke out a couple beers so I'd have something to drink whilst tending the fire and three hours later beer was gone, ribs were done, and now, all that remains are bones. There's something very satisfying to my inner caveman about ripping meat off the bone with my teeth.

Dang, that was good eatin'. It's addicting. Think I'm gonna smoke a small lamb roast tomorrow. 'Supposed to be a good day.

huge sale on chicken thighs this week, so I bought 10 lbs. to cook and/or stow in the freezer. Will roast some up with mustard & herbs tonight with some roasted brussels sprouts for a side and do a few extra for a chicken salad later this week, as it's supposed to get quite warm in a few days.

I'm seriously considering that since reading about it here. I know the other person was happy with it. Are you?

So far, but gosh they have horrible reviews. I ordered a large box, so I am scrambling to use up what I can. Two apples were a little bruised and one curly endive was a little wilty. But I do feel I got my monies worth.

For around 40 bucks I got 2 curly endive, 2 bunches dandelion greens, acorn squash, 3 small zukes, two bunches cilantro, 2 fennel, 3 different cabbages, radishes, pears, apples, orange bells and limes

You choose what you want.
