Nibbles - wings, home made spring rolls, salame, cheese, ..... a small green salad to appease me. Plenty of wine and whine a roaring fire, two well fed furries and a old movie. How does the first 007 sound?
Maiale al latte, pork filet wrapped in bacon slowly braised in milk/cream with garlic, olives/Rosemary. Crusty Italian bread to sop up the good stuff. Lots of work and well worth it on a very cold day.
IF I get motivated coq au vin blanc, side will be something with arugula and apples.
If I don't? Maybe grilled cheese and soup?
