We were invited to a small birthday gathering and they usually order pizza but it’s not one I’m fond of so we had plans to eat a chicken cutlet, sweet potatoes and asparagus before we went. Unfortunately the chicken tasted off so we ate the veggies and I ended up eating a couple of pieces of pizza anyway.
Going to a music thing in the park late afternoon, will probably pick up something on the way home for dinner....don't know what yet....and fresh local strawberries & pound cake w/ whipped cream for dessert.
We're making bacon wrapped bbq grilled shrimp and corn on the cob tonight.
