I just know Kats is having fried catfish-fresh caught at the lake house and enjoying herself.

I'm planning tomorrow's for Mr. L to have a very special meal after today!

I came up with yet another One Dish Baked Wonder while helping my son with his summer health diet. I'll be glad when he goes back to school so I can fry me up some chicken or something.

My first time in this thread. Hi all.

I am baking a huge chicken pot pie with potatoes, carrots, peas,
home made gravy and crust. And 2 smaller ones for the freezer.

Smells delish, but the best thing is it will last for a few nights, and
I won't have to cook again for a couple of days.

HG, that ring sounds beautiful. So your guy has great taste, not only in jewelry, but in women too. WTG!

Dinner tonight was really good. DH's stomach was a bit off, so I made stuff I thought wouldn't be too heavy for him. We had a roast beast, fresh corn, barley salad (sooooo good), fresh cukes.

Welcome, baseball gal. It's a fun spot here - you'll learn lots about good eatin'!

OK I made and ate the fresh fruit stuff. Now if I only had some nuts I'd be a fruit cake.
